Appraisal of the book "Salazar's betrayal", by Cansado Gonçalves, which draws the outline of the decline of culture and education in Portugal during the Fascist regime. Among the many attempts against education, reference to the extinction of the 1st Faculty of Arts - University of Porto, and of the High Institute of Economic and Financial Sciences of Porto.
