Em debate o ensino da Engenharia

Abstract

Summary of the National Assembly of Higher Schools of Engineering, organised by the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, attended by representatives of Higher Education institutions and professional associations of this area. In the meeting, delegates discussed the reorganisation of Engineering teaching in Portugal. The Secretary of State for Higher Education, Eng. António Brotas, announced the intention to create the bachelor degree in all Engineering courses and to invest in a greater variety of areas of expertise.

Resumo do Encontro Nacional das Escolas Superiores de Engenharia, organizado pela Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra, no qual estiveram presentes representantes das instituições de ensino superior e de ordens profissionais da área. Durante o encontro foi analisada a reestruturação do ensino da Engenharia em Portugal, tendo o Secretário de Estado do Ensino Superior, Eng. António Brotas, comunicado o desejo de criar o bacharelato em todos os cursos de Engenharia e de apostar numa maior diversidade das especialidades.
