Abstract

News about the indignation shown by the Rector for life of the University of Porto, Dr. Ruy Luís Gomes, at the events occurred at the Custóias jail-house. The former Rector took part in the meeting in support of the imprisoned military and endorsed a telegram to the highest political entities demanding that those responsible be identified and the release of all prisoners involved in the 25 November coup.

Notícia sobre a indignação manifestada pelo Reitor vitalício da Universidade do Porto, Dr. Ruy Luís Gomes, perante os acontecimentos ocorridos na prisão de Custóias. O ex-Reitor tomou parte na reunião em favor dos militares presos e subscreveu um telegrama endereçado às mais altas entidades políticas, exigindo o apuramento de responsabilidades e a libertação de todos os presos envolvidos no golpe de 25 de Novembro.
