Ainda os incidentes em Engenharia: pretendeu-se defender liberdade de expressão

Abstract

Summary of the press conference given by the Steering Committee and by the Students Association of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto on the incidents reported at the facilities of the Faculty with a group of refugees, relating to the posters in support of the independence of Angola. The academic community of Engineering is intransient on the defence of its right of expression and promises to continue to defend the cause and protect the facilities from future attacks, promoting a meeting of the Academy of Porto in order to discuss ways to tackle it.

Resumo da conferência de imprensa dada pela Comissão Directiva e pela Associação de Estudantes da Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto sobre os incidentes registados nas instalações da Faculdade com um grupo de retornados, as quais se relacionaram com a afixação de cartazes de apoio à independência de Angola. Intransigente na defesa do seu direito de liberdade de expressão, a comunidade académica de Engenharia promete continuar a defender a causa e a proteger as instalações de futuros ataques, promovendo um meeting da Academia do Porto para analisar formas de luta.
