Opening of the 1st national Congress of Catholic University Students, in Lisbon, chaired by the Cardinal Pa<triarch of Lisbon, attended by the university communities (teaching staff and students) of the Portuguese universities. Transcript of a letter by Monseigneur J. B. Montini, pro-Secretary of State of the Holy See, representing Pope Pius XII, and the speeches by Dr. Adérito Nunes, Dr. Fernando Magano (Vice-Rector of the University of Porto), the Archbishop of Mitilene, D.Manuel Trindade Salgueiro, and the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon.
