Abstract

A summary of the campaign of the past few years favouring the reinstatement of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Porto, especially during the office of Dr. Amândio Tavares. Analysis of the impact of this reinstatement in the educational, economic and social plan in the at Northern region of Portugal, very greatly welcomed by all the Portuguese people.

Síntese da campanha dos últimos anos em defesa da restauração da Faculdade de Letras na Universidade do Porto, particularmente decorrida durante o reitorado do Dr. Amândio Tavares. Análise do impacto deste restabelecimento no plano educativo, económico e social na região norte de Portugal, muito congratulado por todos os portugueses.
