| Abstract: | Charity works organized by about 50 students of the University of Porto who participated in the "venda da pasta" [sale of miniature folders] to raise funds for Casa do Gaiato, which raised more than 30 contos [thousand escudos]. Contains a photograph of Father Américo watching the money collected by the students being counted. Description of the Gala held in Hotel Infante de Sagres and announcement of the day's programme, which includes the Garraiada [bull-fight] and the Party at the Casino da Póvoa de Varzim. Jornada de beneficência de cerca de 50 alunos da Universidade do Porto que, durante a tarde, percorreram a cidade na "venda da pasta", em favor da Casa do Gaiato, tendo obtido um saldo de mais de 30 contos. Fotografia do Padre Américo a assistir à contagem do dinheiro recolhido pelos estudantes. Descrição do "Baile de Gala" decorrido no Hotel Infante de Sagres e anúncio do programa do dia, compreendendo a Garraiada e a Festa no Casino da Póvoa de Varzim. |
