Abstract

A tribute paid to Professor Mendes Correia, teacher and President of the Portuguese Anthropology Society, and the inauguration of a bust in the Anthropology Hall at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto. Reference to the speeches given by the Rector, Professor Amândio Tavares, and by Professor Hernâni Monteiro on the honouree. The honouree thanked the commendations received.
