Summary of some of the activities included in the programme of the "Queima das Fitas", such as the Sports festival, the Artistic Show held at the S. João Theatre, the Venda da Pasta [in which miniature folders are sold to raise funds for local charities] and the Afternoon Tea Party. Reference to a vehicle expertise test in progress at Palácio de Cristal, the Garraiada in the bullfighting ring and the Gala in Póvoa de Varzim.
