Abstract

News about the arrival of Generals Joffre, Dorrien and Diaz to Porto, and the welcoming ceremony organized by the University of Porto in acknowledgment of the contributions they provided to the victory of the Allies in the First World War. They were awarded the title of Honorary Doctor in this ceremony.

Notícia da chegada ao Porto dos cabos de guerra Joffre, Dorrien e Diaz e da recepção que lhes foi feita pela Universidade do Porto numa cerimónia de boas vindas e reconhecimento dos contributos por eles prestados para a vitória dos Países Aliados na Grande Guerra. Nesta cerimónia foi-lhes atribuído o grau de Doutor "Honoris Causa".
