News about the outcome of the election of the new Vice-Rector of the University of Porto by the General Assembly of the University. The three most voted names were Carlos Alberto de Lima, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Damião António Peres, Professor at the Faculty of Arts, and Bento de Sousa Carqueja, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering.
